Grant Akata, the Chief Financial Officer, is an expert finance and tax professional with over 16 years of experience in leading financial and business operations for multi-billion-dollar corporations. His strategic planning, financial analysis, and effective risk management skills have contributed to driving business growth. Grant holds a master’s in economics & finance from the University of Leeds, England, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). Before joining UPDC Plc, he held leadership positions at Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group and KPMG Professional Services, respectively.
