Head, Facility Management

Alaba is the Head of Facility Management at UPDC Plc. A seasoned architecture and real estate expert, she has over 22 years of experience in project design, on-site contract administration and the management of residential, healthcare, corporate, specialist laboratories, waste recycling, education, financial and estate developments – with a specialisation in facility and project management in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Prior to her role at UPDC, Alaba was Head, Facilities Management Divisions at Union Bank and Senior Manager, Projects at Broll Property Services. At Union Bank, Alaba was responsible for the facilities management of 350 branches including the Head Office. During her tenure at Broll Property Services Ltd, Alaba interfaced with numerous national and multinational clients including African Capital Alliance, Airtel, Pfizer, Actis, Persianas Group, Nokia  Siemens Networks; Oando Plc, McKinsey & Company, AXA-Mansard, Alpine, Standard Chartered Bank, The Cross River State Government, St Saviours School, Day Waterman College and  Lagos Preparatory School.

Alaba earned two Bachelor degrees in Environmental Science and Architecture from the University of Lagos, and is a member of Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management, (formerly British Institute of Facility Management – BIFM).
